HEALTH - Vaccinations up to date, spayed

Meet Dabi! She is a fun loving Belgian Malinois/Shepherd/Lab mix. Dabi recently celebrated her 1st birthday and is looking for her forever home. Dabi lives indoors and loves to cuddle! She is house broken and kennel trained. She has a fantastic bark that only comes out when she sees strangers in her yard or hears a knock at the door. Even though she spends most of her time inside, Dabi loves to play outside and go on adventures! She is great with kids! There are a few cats and dogs in the neighborhood but she is not very socialized with other pets so we’re not sure how well she will live with other animals. Dabi weighs 50 lbs, has been spayed and is microchipped, and she is up to date on all of her vaccines. If you are looking for a sweet pet and are ready to play, then Dabi is the perfect dog for you!

***Dabi is not at our shelter location. If you are interested in meeting her and applying for adoption, please contact 615-415-8694 to schedule a meet and greet.

If you’d like to meet the SPA adoptable pets, and apply for adoption, visit Safe Place for Animals at 905 Mallard Drive in Gallatin, Tennessee during our shelter visiting hours Monday-Saturday 12:00-4:00 pm and Sunday 12:00-3:00 pm. No appointment needed.

• Safe Place for Animals does not do same-day adoptions, and adoptions are not on a first come, first serve basis.
• Adoption applications are available for submission in-person only.

• Applying to adopt a pet from Safe Place for Animals does not guarantee adoption approval.

Each pet is unique and they all have different personalities, temperaments and needs. So we work very hard to make sure that each pet is matched with the individual or family that is going to be the best fit for both the pet and adopter. Therefore, Safe Place for Animals does not do same-day adoptions and adoptions are not on a first come, first serve basis.

Each pet receives many applications so we thoroughly review each one, including doing veterinary checks and personal reference checks. There is no definitive timeline on the adoption process; it can vary by pet. Applying to adopt a pet does not guarantee adoption approval. We will contact you if your application has been approved. Those not approved may not be contacted due to the volume of applications and the time limitations of our volunteer staff. However, you are welcome to contact us to follow-up on your application status if you have not heard anything by a week after applying.
